The Dream Team is the heartbeat of Freedom Church and plays a vital role in making ministry happen each week. Every person who serves—whether behind the scenes or on the front lines—is deeply valued and an important part of what God is doing at Freedom. From greeting guests at the door to leading worship, serving in kids ministry, running media, or helping create a safe environment, every role carries purpose and helps us fulfill our mission as a church. We believe God has uniquely gifted each person with talents and abilities that can make a difference in the lives of others. Dream Team FAQ

How often will I serve?

At Freedom we believe in a rotational serve team. We do our best to keep our teams staffed with at least three weeks of teams. Our heart and goal is to have you serve once a month so you can enjoy being in service as well. Some like to serve more or in multiple areas, and that is ok too. We will make sure you do not serve every week, even if you want to. 

Do i have to be background checked?

If you work in any area of ministry where you will be serving with minors, yes. We take safety and security of our most valuable Freedom Fam very seriously. Every Freedom Kids and Freedom Youth leader is background checked and trained. 

Are there try outs for worship team?

Yes, and no. We don't have a official try out in front of people, but we will meet with you and our worship leaders to see what your skill level is. After we assess your skill level we will determine what is the best on ramp for you and the worship team.

do i have to be a memeber to serve?

While we don't have official membership at Freedom Church we do believe in serving where you are planted. If you belong to another church we want you to serve there. If you start coming to Freedom, we want you to take it in, pray for direction from the Holy Spirit, and then decide to serve. We do have an on boarding training process that will come with signing a Dream Team Covenant, because accountability matters to God.
